Aertex is one of the last classic British heritage brands to be rediscovered and given a fresh lick of love.

For the Aertex-ignorant, it’s the revolutionary ‘Cellular’ fabric – invented in 1888 – that keeps you cool during summer, but traps heat in the winter. They even provided sweat-proof uniforms for the Desert Rats during World War 2.

Best known for their short-sleeved shirts, vests and underwear, Aertex have relaunched with a heritage-inspired shirt-and-top collection that’s very Ralph-meets-Ben-meets-Gabicci. Shirts come in granddad, preppy button-down, military-inspired and Goodfellas- mobster flavours, as do many of the other key pieces in the collection. As Sir Paul Smith so rightly put it, Aertex is simply ‘very English’.

Development Project

Klout was commissioned to develop a new optimised ecommerce site for Aertex.  We designed and implemented an ecommerce website with image swapping functions for product colour variations.

We integrated our ecommerce system with Metacharge payment provider for secure credit card transactions.  Our ecommerce system offers both online and offline ordering with excellent back office integration for processing of orders.  Orders are simply downloaded by Aertex and packing, shipping and invoices printed.

The website is fully optimised for high search engine ranking.

Search Engine Marketing

A managed searchengine marketing campaign is currently ongoing.  Along with an extensive manual deep linking strategy we are submitting optimised industry articles and press releases by media wire.  Website tracking and conversion ratio analysis is monitored through our statistics software.

PPC (Pay Per Click) Campaign

Using Google Adwords we manage Aertex's pay per click campaign and develop keyword strategies for effective product targetting.

Public Relations

Aertex PR is handled by Sister PR in London.  Aertex has featured articles in many leading publications including the front page of the Daily Telegraph, Zoo Magazine, Arena, Drapers and Front Magazine. Latest media release includes an article in Maxim Magazine.
